Kelebihan Samsung Galaxy S III. Teka-teki seputar Samsung Galaxy S III terjawab sudah. Melalui ajang yang digelar di London Kamis (3/5), Samsung mengumumkan kehadiran smartphone yang bekerja dengan sistem operasi Android terbaru itu.
Samsung mengusung user interface TouchWiz 4.0 untuk smartphone terbarunya ini. User interface ini telah mendukung berbagai aplikasi seperti DivX/Xvid codec support dan input teks Swype.
Samsung Galaxy S III ditopang prosesor quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex A9 processor dan chipset Exynos 4212 Quad. Memiliki RAM 1 GB, Samsung menawarkan tiga pilihan memori internal yakni 8 GB, 16 GB dan 32 GB.
Sebagaimana spekulasi yang beredar sebelumnya, display berdiameter 4.8" HD (720 x 1280 piksel) Super AMOLED. Layar sentuh kapatitif ini didukung teknologi Gorilla Glass yang dikenal antidebu dan antigores.
Kamera masih 8 Mega Piksel, sebagaimana kebanyakan smartphone premium Samsung. Kamera ini mendukung perekaman video dengan format 1080p dengan kecepatan merekam 30 frame per detik.
Kamera memiliki sejumlah fitur pendukung. Antara lain peritah suara untuk pemotretan, atau pemotretan cepat dengan kecepatan 3.3 foto per detik Di bagian depan terdapat kamera 1.9MP untuk video call.
Samsung menyiapka dua versi untuk Galaxy S3, yakni versi LTE yang akan dirilis di AS pada bulan Juni, serta versi HSPA+. Untuk versi HSPA+ akan datang bulan ini dan diperkirakan akan dipasarkan pertama kali di Eropa
